What We Do
ACAE funds arts in education programs for students in the schools of the city of Albany.
ACAE's principal fund-raising event is an annual silent auction occurring in the spring. Originally focused on custom-designed birdhouses, the auction now includes other art and craft items such as paintings, jewelery and textiles. Contributing artists have the option of creating a functional or decorative birdhouse or other original artwork of their choosing.

Other fund-raising events such as cocktail parties take place from time to time. Click here for a schedule of upcoming events.
Patron contributions and funds raised by these events are used solely to support students' artistic activities. Grant proposals are reviewed by the ACAE board which determines distribution of awards.
ACAE is a 501(c)(3) corporation chartered under New York law, so your contribution is entirely tax-deductible. We will provide a receipt for your contribution but tax regulations prohibit us from specifying a cash value.
